Project Kick-off and Initial Planning
October 2022We are excited to announce the launch of our Erasmus+ Ka210 project "Digital Transformation in Textile Testing Laboratory." The project officially started with a kick-off meeting in Istanbul, where representatives from all three partner institutions gathered to discuss the project objectives, timeline, and responsibilities.
During this initial phase, we have established the project management framework, communication protocols, and detailed work plan for the coming months. Our team is enthusiastic about developing innovative digital solutions that will transform textile testing education.

February 2023The project team has successfully completed the initial content development phase. Working together virtually, experts from all partner institutions have defined the scope and structure of the educational content for textile testing procedures.
Key achievements include:
- Definition of learning objectives and competencies
- Selection of textile tests to be included in the digital modules
- Planning of 3D modeling requirements for laboratory equipment
- Development of assessment methods for the e-learning platform
Mid-term Progress and Laboratory Visit
June 2023The project has reached its mid-term milestone with a productive partner meeting at EGE University in Izmir, Turkey. The team conducted hands-on workshops in the textile testing laboratories, capturing essential data for the development of digital teaching materials.
Highlights from the meeting include:
- 3D scanning of key textile testing equipment
- Video documentation of testing procedures with expert commentary
- Demonstration of the initial mixed reality prototype applications
- Review and refinement of the project timeline for the remaining phases
